The less Alan Shearer says the better IMO. His butchering of the English language is painful to witness. The only example I can think of at the moment is: 'the boy done good'! Shocking.

The presenters piss me off. They don't give a st about Wigan. If we win, they'll go on about how bad the other team were, and if we lose they'll just praise the other team, that's if they actually do any analysis on a Wigan game.

I can't stand Shearer as a so called pundit on MOTD. He was a very good player in his day but his lack of insight doesn't help along with his monotone delivery and as for his flailing elbows that he used to wield in the premier league and mostly got away with. As a Spurs fan it shames me to say that I prefer Dixon and Keown as pundits as at least they actually won more than 1 trophy in their whole career.

Do you possibly think that it could be because he could be accused of bias, whatever he said?

(That and the fact you're a bunch of unwashed bin dwellers?)
