Hi
I am starting a new job & have an option of the cars below. I am personally more inclined towards Audi but needs some advise.

Audi A4 2.0 TDIe 4dr (136bhp) (start stop)
BMW 320d EfficientDynamics (163bhp)
Mercedes C200 CDI Blue-efficiency SE (136bhp)

So which one do your guys recommend?

Thanks

Muncher

The beamer, my Dad has one which I drive quite a lot and I have also had a test driven on the extended Merc.

It's quick, comfortable (no run flats) and returns 60+mpg on average for a realworld mix of driving. He can also do well over 800 miles on a single tank of diesel.

BMW.

Faster. Cheaper to run. Less dull.

The Merc C class is refined, but lacks oomph

I would go for 1 of the other 2
Isn't the Beemer a start/stop like the Audi?

Personnaly, the Audi as i think it looks better than the others and regardless of what Clarkson thinks it still has a better image than the BMW.

BMW, unless the others come with a particularly good offer like Audi black edition or Merc SE Spec Edition, and even then I'd prob pick the BMW.

Parkers has a good company car tax calculator, and also has user reviews.

This.
I'd drive them all and take whatever was the most comfortable.

I went for the 320d touring sport plus edition. Absolutely love it. Drive 120 miles a day commuting and average 42mpg.

Any excuse to post these !

PS, do test them to see which you prefer, but the below is a useful factual comparison.

My brother picked up his 320d ES just before christmas and absolutely loves it. I'm pretty sure that he's paying less tax now than he was for the Mondeo TDCi he had before.
