We want to go to France

with our Radical SR3 this year. Or perhaps Belgium (Spa excepted as we know about that already)

LOT won't let us come and play and they do quite a lot of days at Abbeville and Croix en Ternoirs.

In anticipation of us getting the gremlim fixed that kept us off games the whole of last year this week at Bruntingthorpe we want to get the diaries planned and full.

So then, I've looked at the Abbeville web-site but it's all in bloomin French! Anyone able to direct me to either a TDO who runs days on the near continent or perhaps one of the jolly foreigner TDO's that you have had good experiences with.

We went with circuit-days to Le Mans Bugatti for a 2 day trip a couple of years ago and that was the best experience ever. Of course, they lost a bundle on it and it's no longer in the diary.

Any recommendations?

Having driven at Abbeville I doubt you'd want to take a radical there. Dijon on the other hand......mmmmmmmmm

We looked at Dijon last year when there was a Goodwood RRC 2 day session there run by RMA. Problem was it was going to work out about £2k a day for us so we binned the idea. We would LOVE to get the Radical down to Dijon. Who did you go there with?

And to be fair, I had heard that about Abbeville.

Should have come on the BaT Iberia trip ... were quite a few Radicals there.

I know its not this year, but I believe there will be something similar next year.

Shaping up nicely for next year already Daniel - provisional dates from Portimao, Jerez and Estoril for mid-Feb 2012 :-)

We're at Croix-en-Ternois on 4th May. It's a small circuit but good fun. Most people make a mini-break out of the trip as well.

I wouldn't have thought you would want to take a Radical to either track to be honest. I'd say that it is too quick for them. Fine for Lotuses and VX220's as they are (relatively) small with short straights.

I raced at Dijon a few years ago at the Trophées Historiques de Bourgogne race weekend bloody long drive but well worth it brilliant circuit, fast flowing, hilly, tight slow corners it has them all. I imagine a radical would be brilliant to drive there.
