As i get older, well i'm not old, but you know what i mean. (42).

I seem to suffer ridiculously long nose hairs.

So whats the solution? Yank the buggers out, which seam to reach to the back of my head and hurts.
Nose hair trimmer, clears the blighters then i get an itchy nose from nasal stubble, which gives me the sneezes and a runny nose.

Is there a solution?

Drives me insane.

(And i still can't grow a beard due to bald patches to make it worse).

I'm 25 and I suffer with it. I pull out the ones that tickle and leave the rest.

Every nose hair I pluck I then sneeze. Just a little insight into my personal life for you there.

36 here and I hear you brother.

Plucking them does provide some perverse pleasure in my experience.

The watering eyes, sneezing.

And don't start me on ear hair.

Have several more than i did at 25, tend to tug them out but they come out by the hand full and it's painful.

Cigarette lighter. I find it works best if you fill each nostril with butane before striking the flint. Try it, it works a treat.

Oh and make sure to post video. biggrin

The really long ones that look like a spider's leg and feel rooted behind your ears are incredibly satisfying. Its the short little feckers at the front that really sting and make your eyes water...

Let them grow, plait them and use them to hold your trousers up.

Anybody else get spots up their sniffer when they pull a hair out?
If I yank a tree trunk out by the root I always get a throbbing plook there a couple of days later. I do try and trim instead but sometimes I can't resist.frown

Not the zits, but bloody sore.

Why are we afflicted so? WTF is the point in the damn things?

As an aside what's the record for the longest nose hair? I swear they come out 4" long sometimes.

I believe they are for filtering purposes, are they not?
Ever rubbed down a car or any woodwork?
Pick a bogie out and you will see that they do something.

I'm 42 too.

I just yank the feckers out, have been for years.

The few times it felt like I was dragging my brain out with the roots.

But I've either got used to it or run out of brains becuase it doesn't hurt so much anymore smile
