The time is coming to get my wheels refurbished. Just for a change I was considering having them finished in black (to match the car), or perhaps a darker, gunmetal, grey. Does anyone have photos of a 360 with such wheels?
I'd be interested in everyones thoughts on moving away from the factory finish silver.
If the reaction is negative I'll probably not get it done. I just fancied a change.
Many thanks for your comments.

IMHO in the standard wheel design on the 360 is wrong for dark colours, have seen a couple and they just look wrong and it makes the wheels look small. The only one that looked good had gunmetal BBS challenge 18" wheels on it.

I don't like the current fad for getting "black" wheels on every white car and having all refurbs go to black. At last someone with the sense to look at the wheel design to see if black will suit it, I applaud you sir.

So my answer to the OP - yuck

But as for yours sevenaurelius - cool
The first car I have seen with dark wheels that I wouldn't need a bag over my head to be seen driving in.

Best wheels by far I have seen on a 360. Are they 430 Scuderia or aftermarket?

Amazing how those wheels bring the 360 more up to date, fantastic.

Keep the stock starfish's in silver, they really suit the 360. I had mine refurb'd a few months ago by Chris at Exel, top job.

Give Chris at Exel a shout, he will come to you and remove your wheels, leave you loan ones, then return your wheels and refit them. And they're done by Lepsons who are the best in the business.

They look fanastic. Do they straight fit or do you need spacers etc?

Is that a challenge grill painted red? Does the grill serve a purpose, I thought it was purely cosmetic?

Yes it is a Challenge grille painted red. It keeps the engine bay so much cooler than the stock one. I was never a fan of the black grille so I decided to have it sprayed body colour, I really like it but I get mixed comments (but do I care? biggrin).
