Anybody want to have a Go karting get together?
Discussion
I have been wanting to get more involved in PH meets and I thought go karting could be fun...
I have been a couple of times to the outdoor circuit just opposite Centre Parcs called Amen Corner
http://www.amencornerkarting.co.uk/
I was just wondering if anybody else was interested in a PH meet there?
We could either do Arrive and Drive style or we could do a group booking if there are enough of us?
Arrive and drive is £20 for 15 mins. You get a print out of all of your lap times etc.. so it is still a "race"
Or
If we booked it, I think the double sprint may suit, £35 for two 15 minute races.
What does everybody think?

I was thinking the booked, 2 race session would be best too.
I assumed it might be because people haddent seen it so I will let it run for a while before we start fixing a date. Once people have posted their interest up then they will get it pop back up in "my stuff" when we start fixing a date

I'd be interested depending on the date. Never met up with fellow PH'ers so would be nice. I'm only about 15miles away, never been there but been tempted for years as I sometimes pass it on the way to the A1.
It is quite a nice track, beats indoor places because you are on proper tarmac, not polished concrete and its nice and open as opposed to the indoor ones that just go straight, then back on your self, then straight, then back on yourself etc...ETA - I have put an aerial photo off their website up in the original post.

How many are needed for minimum group booking? Maybe putting it in the general event section would create a larger response.
Minimum of 8 max of 14 for a group booking, or we could go for arrive and drive if we don't have enough. I cant remember the price but i think they may do a longer arrive and drive session, I think it works out about £1 per minute.
