54 reg civic sport belonging to my mate's better half it's had new discs and pads all round but the brakes lock on solid after a few miles driving, he's been advised it 'might' be the master cylinder..or the actual abs pump.
I've not looked at the car yet but will do so later, what model master cylinders will fit it he's spent a fortune on it already.

Seized caliper? more than likely not though, heh.

first is it all 4 brakes, front only etc, the master cylinder can cause this fault, also look at the brake hoses, they can collapse inside blocking the return of brake fluid

if the piston edges were not cleaned properly before they were pushed back into the caliper ( and not may seem to bother at all )

there could be a build up on the seals which is causing the pistons to stick
