TVR S1 hood removal

Hello folks.
I need to take the hood off of my S1 to be repaired, but the hood pivot bolts seem to just go round and round without undoing. Anybody had the same problem, if you did, how did you get over it. i only want to start cutting bits of body out as a last resort.
Hope someone can shed some light on my problem.

There is a nut on the back of it ! M8, 13mm spanner I think.

somewhere on the B post should be a slit in the carpet (quite low down from memory, near seatbelt reel),its a case of arm in and reach up then count the fibreglass splinters and scratches afterwards .
