The other half's cooper is needing a front wheel bearing/hub assembly,any recommendations of best place to source them and average time for doing the job.
Just gonna fit myself at mate's garage,heard around and hr to change over?

Used the ebay ones lots, seam to be more than capable to do the job, costs about £60 and not too bad of a job to change, just be careful with removing the speed sensor/abs sensor

You will need an impact gun to remove the hub bolt, also remove the lower ball joint, swing the hub carrier out with suspension, steering and drop link attached, take off the calliper and disk, remove the sensor, pull the hub off the drive shaft and then remove the 4 bolts holding the bearing in, tap the bearing carrier out.

You may want to take the brake off first, that is up to you

Also try Euro car parts it is worth looking in the new mini mags for adverts from other supplyers. It may also be worth checking out you local motor parts supply company (look in yellow pages) Most will be more than happy to supply to the public but you will have to pick up the parts from them as most will only deliver to the trade.
