Strangest things you've had in a Wedge

Just been down to the timber merchants and bought 40m of decking. No chance of getting it in the Golf, so the Wedge was pressed into action. Couple of bungee straps, some cloth to protect the seats and a hi-viz tied on the end of the boards. The guys down at the timber merchants all came out of the office to chat, and listen to her roar.

God I love this car, even after 5 years with her.

She also gets used to fetch a couple of Christmas trees each year.

Water cooler off a welding machine, JUST fit on the rear shelf with the roof off.

Two giant bags of Flo-Pak (that polystyrene chipping stuff they use as parcel filler): was like being stuck in there with the Stay-Puft marshmallow man (Ghostbusters)

Enough camping gear for a weekend. No clothes, just the camping gear
