I've got a new window support channel and rubbers to replace the old one that rusted away on my Justy. Its the support channel between the glass and the regulator

To get it all back together, do I fit the rubbers to the glass first, then try and slide the channel onto that, or do I fit the rubbers into the channel and then try and slide that lot onto the glass?

Thanks

Normally you would mark where the glass should sit in the groove from a front to rear point of view then spray a bit of lube into the rubbers, sit the rubber into the metal support then sit al that onto the upturned glass and whack it down onto the glass with a rubber mallet, carefully... then thw whole lot should drop back into the door and you done.

Thanks, that did it.

If you replace "mallett" with "4lb lump hammer"
and "carefully" with "relentlessly for 20 minutes"

Its surprising how much abuse a window can take!

Thanks again
