Chaps, I'm being incredibly dim, but I can't find the place where you put the sat nav disk in my RRS S/c '56 plate.

Got hold of a bootleg 2010 disk and want to see if it works, but can I find where to put it!!!!

confused

It was only a month ago I found the rear cup holders, and we've had the thing since it was six months old!

Stu, that rings a bell, how do you access? There's nothing obvious.

I don't recall having to take anything apart, so I might be wrong if you can't get at the drive from behind the seat. I'm pretty sure that's where they are though.

It it's anything like the fullfat, (which it may not be), then the dvd drive for the satnav is behind the trim in the nearside of the boot.

Tyre smoke in a RRS it is under the passengers seat, you have to slide the seat all the way forward and get to the box from passengers rear door.

Thats actually a pretty logical place to put it

As that is where the navigation material went for many many years

Just checked yes it is under the front passagers seat, but you have to move the seat all the way back and take the plastic cover off the front seat. I knew it was something like that.

Just fitted the disc, all working fine - considering it was only £40!!

Now hopefully I'll be 'on the road' as opposed to crossing a field!

Did you replace the original disc?
How is the new one an improvement and is it worth purchasing?

It works!

Just as good as the original, £40 well spent. Roads where there used to be fields, etc.

Bought from www.Satnav-updates.com

Now, whilst I do not condone anything they might be doing that infringes copyright, they are good!
