Have been browsing the classifieds. Looking for something for a bit of fun.

Budget is 2k and I dont want to have to travel a million miles from my current location for it.

Have short listed a few:

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2558253.htm

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2581919.htm

Any one spot anything dubious about these or do any of them stand out? This will be my first MX5 smile

Thanks guys

Would be the top one for me if I had to choose out of those.Personally though, I would always buy an import due to the fact I like to be able to remove nuts and bolts with a spanner as apposed to oxyacetylene cutters hehe

Keep an eye out on here, too...

Were it my money I'd be looking at the middle one. Not sure about the colour but the car looks nice and seems to have been taken care of - £1600 doesn't sound massively cheap, although it may well be worth spending if the car is in good condition.

Well I failed massively. I phoned about 5 sellers and all cars were sold frown

The only one close by that is still for sale is an S reg (mk2 shape) with 136k miles on it and he wants £2795!!! Bonkers.

Going to keep looking, have some time tomorrow so can hopefully arrange to go see a couple.

Don't give up, there's plenty of cars out there.. the good ones do go quickly though! Just make sure you don't get deterred and end up 'settling' for a mk2 :Hehe:

Our Mk2.5 'Sport' will be up for sale in a month or two (need to find the replacement first), excellent car, but probably a bit on the rich side I'm afraid.

Looks like Spring has come early!
