So what's the edit link/button for?

I'll guess that if you are previewing a long or a multi-quoted post that you wish to edit again it just takes you straight back to the edit box without having to scroll down yourself

You know what, I'd never noticed that edit button before! It's not something we've added recently though, so I guess it has always been there.

All it does though is scroll down to the text box that you type your post into, so it's not the most exciting thing in the world.
