Slightly O/T anyone know anything about an Elise being binned on the A64 Sunday morning (13th)? Hopefully no-one on here.
I think it is unfortunately: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...- ETA that the dates dont match and your post said the A64 - sorry!
I'm a regular on that fine piece of tarmac (A169) as I am originally from Whitby...

I've just looked at your profile, do you ever go to Egton Bridge? I'm sure you were coming out of Egton Bridge up the hill a couple of months ago?
I was in a 110 Defender at the time.
Yes, I've got a few friends in Egton Bridge and am often popping into the Horseshoe, Postgate or Wheatsheaf for a pint or bite to eat. I was in a 110 Defender at the time.
Out today for an impromptu blast.
964 Turbo (?) dark blue or grey, Btwn Malton n Pickering
993 Carrera, silver, as above
Boxster, silver, as above
You all waved (2pm ish)
Red Fiat 500 Fylingdales, few cars ahead between Fylingdales n Grosmont, very nippy!
2x MX5 heading back to Pickering around 3pm
White RS Focus
White Gallardo
( both in Malton queuing at the level crossing)

Personally, I wouldn't publicise where I'm planning to head, unless of course we're on the same wavelength and you were on different roads - t'internet and dis-information go together very well don't they?I've heard that those roads get more than their fair share of plod patrols anyway?
