Depends what you want to do, how long you'll be away for and your health.

Have you tried moneysupermarket or moneysavingexpert?

I just plugged some details in at www.moneysupermarket.com. For a 45yo male going to mexico tomorrow for 2 weeks the policies start at £10! How can you afford to go to Mexico if that's expensive?

Not a matter if I can afford it!!!!

Im only asking a question on cheap travel insurance as it varies in price so much....

getting quotes of £160 etc seems alot.

I use essentialtravel - always seem to get a good quote.

Amex has really good cover - and that's coming to £46 or so, and you can get more cashback through Quidco.

I am sure that providers such as Insure and Go will have cheaper cover (usually with more exceptions than Amex).

Where are you getting quotes for £160 from and what extras did you include ? I have not even got quotes for annual multi-trip cover with all the extras for anywhere near that amount.

For couples, Amex almost definitely gives the best cover/price. Save a little extra with Quidco too. smile
