Has anybody used a scanner at LM in previous years?? and how do you find out the frequency's that the teams use?

Not sure if it's illegal, I've seen plenty of people with them on stage rallies!

http://www.lastturnclub.com publishes frequencies for ALMS events, so might have something for LM later in the year.

since its legal to listen to the police and air traffic, i doubt very much its illegal to tune into a race team comm's

Not possible with police anymore

Used to be possible for us with one of those hand held scanners...

teams like audi and peugeot will surely have gone digital as well. some might be still on old radio sets though.

If it is illegal... who's going to be policing it?

Think you can listen, and it becomes a problem when you interfere with communications? dunno... just guessing.
