Ground Clearance

Hi Guys, just had a quick question i am selling my DB9 Volante and lookig to replace with either a 430 spider or a gallardo spyder and was wondering which model is best for ground clearance

The clearance on the D9 was 5.1 inches and i just about got it on and off my drive will the others be much different?? what about ferries i drive my car alot to ireland... any experiences, viewpoints welcomed.

I believe you can get a lift on the 430, you can definitely get one in the Gallardo, one touch of a button and the front is raised off the ground with plenty of clearance.

ride height on a 430 varied considerably from car to car when i was looking
also it's the front overhang that really matters
i bought a car with lifting gear

ok great.. maybe i will start looking into cars with the lifting gear then, i did see it on a gallardo but wasnt aware ferrari offered that as an option....

For my parking situation ground clearance in the middle of the car between front and rear wheels was the issue, and my Gallardo was better than my V8 Vantage.. Might be useful information to some

Get a Gallardo with lifting gear and you can't go wrong. Short overhang at the front and large enough ground clearance when lifted that it will clear any speed bump etc

430 didnt offer lifting gear. its actually higher than my 911 turbo, if its a normalish drive you could well be ok.

430 has better ground clearance than Gallardo, and is not available with a lift. Gallardo with lifting system answers all your prayers, and is more scarce than 430...
