Did anyone see the BiB clearing out the hash house in South Ascot this afternoon (opposite the newsagent)?

We spotted a couple of Grundon wagons loading up with stack bins - nothing unusual there you'd think but as they were rolling one onto the tail lift a very recognisable bundle of leaves stuck out of the top and it was BiB doing the loading. And it's not every day that those trucks are escorted by marked cars.

So two trucks, my guess is 9/12 of the bins on each - some haul.

A trip over to Colnbrook then, see if there is a bag or two going cheap.

As per the interim press release ..... smile

Cannabis factory found in Ascot

Several hundred cannabis plants and a large amount of cultivation equipment have been seized from a house in Ascot, after police discovered a cannabis factory at the rented property.

At 10.18am on Saturday (12/3) a member of the public called police to report a suspected burglary after noticing a broken window at a house in Brockenhurst Road.

Officers attended the address and found that rooms throughout the house were being used for the cultivation of cannabis. The electricity supply had been bypassed and electricity company staff were called in to make the premises safe before a full search could take place.

The cannabis plants were removed by specialist contractors on Sunday (13/3) and destroyed.

No-one was in the house when officers arrived, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is on-going.
