Exciting stuff here but my housemate has just got a 10 plate Insignia as a temp company car and the touch sensitive boot release doesn't seem to be working.
I've just had a nosey round and cant find any interior release. Is there one?
The fob only has lock and unlock on it. Holding down unlock, unlocks the car and winds all the windows down! Wierd car. You'd think there would be some kind of manual override for the boot though. He's going to give the car back tomorrow and ask for a replacement anyway now I think
could it e a fuse issue? astras do this when the washer bottle freezes, trying to use the washers blows the fuse which is the same one the boot uses and therefore until fuse is replaced you cannot get in the boot.
