Anyone got one of these? are they any good,
I fancy something as a walkabout camera as it saves lugging the D200 about.
This looks ideal but wouldnt mind a second opinion before spending £300 on a compact. Only thing that really puts me off is the lack of a viewfinder.

I have the Leica equiv to the LX3 and reviews say it's better.

My only prob with the D-lux 4 (LX3) is that it isn't 'long' enough. Could do with getting in tighter in the optical zoom. LX5 might solve that? (Haven't checked - let me know!).

FAB image quality/metering in the 3, so 5 has to be better??

Sounds good, Still havent quite decided to get one or just take a plunge and Pre-order a Fujifilm X100.
