Hard Top Off & Roof Down - 1st Run This Year
Discussion
Took the hard top off for the first time since buying the car.
Was a nice surprise to find it has a brand new roof with a glass rear window!
A really nice drive home today - although it was amazing how less rigid the car feels with the hard top off
Piccys:
New Shiny roof:

Roof Off:

Hard top in the garage - where it's going to stay!

Not bad for a 17 year old car with 135,000 miles on the clock

Surprised you bought an MX5 without looking at the condition of the roof before the purchase. Anyway, nice one
I bought the car as a long term project, something I could enjoy driving and fix up as I go.
I always budgeted for a new roof so this was a pleasant suprize
Just needs 4 new tyres and alignment and I'll look at selling it ready for summer
