Ignis Sport Alternatives

I'm currently driving an Ignis sport but parts are extremely expensive and very hard to come by so I'm thinking of looking for something else preferably Japanese but which has the same fun factor handling as the Ignis preferably Japanese no more than 10 years old and must have around 100bhp - 150bhp so the insurance wont be too much of a killer, so what alternatives are there.

Anyone had any experience with the Yaris T Sport

Yaris isn't as much fun as the the IS, it just doesn't handles as well as it. Lupo 16v/GTi/Polo GTi,

Mini One could be Bluefin'd to 120-ish bhp, and goes really well once you've ditched the runflats for something decent.

What kind of parts are you finding hard to get? Just general wear and tear items should be easily bought from your local garage, they'll order it in for you and usually takes about 2-4 working days. As for modifications and performance upgrades go, there aint that much you can really do... I have been eye-ing up a carbon fibre cover for the induction kit... but Very expensive from Japan, when I have more time in the summer gunna fashion something similar myself.

I have been looking at the Lupo GTI but I have read in a fiew places that the gearboxes are terrible, insurance is a bit high aswell, so is there actualy anything wrong with the Yaris T sport or is it just a bit more boring

oh and my budget is about 4-5k

Ive been looking for a fiew parts and the only place to get them is direct from Suzuki who absolutely rip you off big time, im looking for a boot lid handle which is just a bit of moulded plastic, they tried charging me £130 so ill have to try and get one from the scrappers which will be hard because their quite rare, Im not realy into modifying but if you are looking for one of those carbon fiber cover there was one on ebay yesterday not sure if it is still on there though,

Maybe for something like that you can take it to a bodyshop or soemthing and see if there's anything they can help with? I'm not really into modifying, but the previous owner of my car just has an open cone air filter which I dont think is doing the car any good! Still gunna find a way to home make one though :P
