this is my little mini as you can see it does need to be sprayed on the bonnet and the A pannel which i will hopfully get done soon. its a very good runner although the clutch has gone but thats the only problem ive had since i bought it which was just after christmas. not bad for a mini smile

Got my first ever ride in a Mini the other day, an 89 Leyland 998cc. Creaked everytime the wind blew, had a peashooter exhaust with an internal diameter about the size of a 1p coin and still sounded like it was doing 80mph when really it was struggling on towards 30mph!

Not something I'd go for, but it did have a lot of character!

The great thing about cars such as basic Minis is that you can drive everywhere on the limit with no danger to licence or limb.

yeah they are not the fastest cars lot of fun to drive though. this one is a 88 mary quant has the 1275cc engine with a stage one kit on it. it accelerates really well upto about 60mph, ive only managed 75mph before i wimped out the wind does shake it all over the place at that speed
