Not sure if this is really the best forum but here goes
I have a smallish single axle car transporter, well made by someone a few years ago based upon a caravan chassis.
The 155x13 tyres need replacing. Should theae be commercial/van tyres or are car tyres adequate?

How much weight will it carry? That is the question. Once you know this go to a tyres load index chart (google) & work out what you need.

Weight of the trailer and a (classic) mini, so guess thats about a tonne

Aim to have at least 600kg tyre loadings then, between 95 - 98 on the load index then.
