House to let on Mulsanne
Discussion
I saw some friends today who have a house half way down the Mulsanne. It is small, two double bedrooms, but a big enough garden for tents. Two toilets, big lounge/dining, etc. However, there is a wall about two metres tall between the house and the track, so you'd need to sort something out to watch the race. There are three car passes and three general tickets included to anyone who wants to rent. It will be available from Weds/Monday morning. Now I haven't yet seen it, but if people are interested I'll go and take photos and discuss the price.
I went to see the house yesterday and it isn't like he described. It is about 100 yds from the track, and frankly from the house you can't see the cars. However, if you imagine that the road leading to the house abuts the track at 90 degrees, there is a house that is right up against the track and it would be a walk of about 200 yds to go and watch. Three car passes are available to get in and out and the house is well maintained. Sorry if I have misled you all.
Well, doing my best to assist, I looked at Google Earth and it is the first house north of Family Village on the RH side of the track. If I'm right, the coordinates are:-
47-56-45.48N
0-14-05.85E
Address is "Chemin des Queutes". To the north east of the house, where Google show a provisional roundabout which was actually built a few years back (just when are Google going to update their maps?) there's a damned good restaurant called Les Ecuries too. Not dear either.
