I'm currently chatting to another company about carbon parts who seem to be more realistic (and VERY good) with the stuff.

I'm thinking off my own back, getting the glovebox lid done (late spec with recess) and the parcel shelf inserts. Prices if anyone wanted these would be around 60-80 for the lid and a little more for the skelf items...all made in glorious autoclaved 2x2 twill.

Behind the seats in the Tam, there's a leather clad curved 'seat' that slots under the trans tunnel. I fancied getting those in carbon. One each side.

Just remember that it's vital that they are lacquered with at least a couple of coats of UV lacquer. We make carbon flagstaffs for boats and learnt the hard way. No lacquer and within about 2 years the resin will go all milky and spoil the effect.

The act boxes...no. I tried but my other contact wasnt keen and the cost of making a modified mold from scratch is cost prohibitive frown

I'd be interested in knowing a price for the parcel shelf inserts (assuming Ive understood what these are correctly).

I've also thought the silver buttons (and surround) either side of the stereo in a t350 would look better in carbon fibre. Anyone know if this is possible?

Did you look at the seat backs for the tuscan type seats?

Yup the seat backs are available. Molds exist for those. I did fancy the dash hood in carbon but put it on hold. To do the button surrounds it should be possible, even if you just use a carbon skin kit?

That doesn't sound good?

With me, I always want the parts for myself so they have to be perfect (lacquered etc etc) I threw away some kickplates the other day as they weren't good enough and got some prepreg ones made up instead smile I just offer the same parts to others once they're made.
