Rear view mirror redesign
Discussion
Looking for some creative tips:
I am nearly 6'5", and while I am quite comfortable in the Sag, the rear view mirror is poorly positioned for me to see out of..and I can't get the adjustment I need
So my thought is to remove the left hand dash heater vent (used to direct air onto the windscreen), make a replacment vent (the black platic thing that directs the air) that sits into the air vent.. then mount the mirror onto that. So the idea is I end up with a dash mounted mirror.
Apologies for the basic graphics.. does anyone got any ideas or tips..
I am thinking along the lines of making a neat bracket to mount a mirror onto the flat side of a "plug" that fits neatly into the vent hole.

If it gets in the way then chuck it away, you don't have to have a rearview mirror as long as you have an offside mirror, having both nearside and offside is a bonus
