Thanks it seems good value only 36K miles full service history with belts changed 200 miles ago. Just wanted to be sure it has no skeletons in the cupboard my instincts tell me there is usually a reason a nice looking car is advertised quite cheaply by a dealer, hopefully I am wrong.
Not the best looking Ferrari but for £17k? With four seats & a 3.4 litre V8? It's a no brainer if it's a 'cheaper' Ferrari that you are after.
If i had £17k lying around i would be tempted. Buy it, use it for the summer & sell towards end of the year. What would you lose? A grand if it that i would imagine so should be worth giving it a go.

It's been for sale there for a long time now. I don't know why?http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2429557.htm
There's a really low mileage red 3.2 at Nick Cartwright's.
That might be a better bet?
For £17k it’s not the cheapest T, it also isn’t the most expensive
Without knowing the chassis number / reg numbers, it’s a little difficult to dig anything up.
As always with these cars, get somebody who knows them inside and out to do a PPI, as well as the usual areas of interest, have a really good look at the state of the electrics as its one of the Mondials weaknesses. I'd also research the history to ensure it matches the mileage, when new they tended to be used more frequently than the 348's and 512's of that period and as such tend to have higher mileages.
I know of two Rosso / Nero T’s that have had significant accident damage, so may be worth checking this history with previous owners.

Overpriced. I bought a better example for much less simply because the guy could not shift it. Mondials are not easy to move and this car has been for sale over two years.
For another few £k I would be putting my money in a 456 if four seats are a requirement. Much more desirable.
Yes, they are hard to sell, but so too are 456s. Did you by any chance buy the ex-NI car (on a K plate with colour-coded grills)? That was up for similar money as the Driven Image car a couple of years ago...For another few £k I would be putting my money in a 456 if four seats are a requirement. Much more desirable.
