Columbus Direct travel insurance

Have had a quote off Columbus Direct for our imminent trip to Florida and it seems very comprehensive. Has anybody used these guys previously?

Yes. Took ages to settle claims, were no use with claim for ash-cloud related costs (as were many other insurers, to be fair). Would not use them again.

trouble is lots of them sound fine on paper , dont know until you claim though
