Slick tyres for Noble
Discussion
These guys supply ours (new), watch out with 2nd hand - even if they've got significant amounts left on the tread wear, if they've been through lots of heat cycles, they'll be knackered.

No worries
If they're for trackdays in the Noble, the biggest problem you'll have is managing them. If you start and stop a lot (as you often have to in an M12 for cooling) they'd be a real pain in the backside as you'd forever be warming them up. Then they'd go hard and be easily outperformed by a trackday tyre.
Also, to make it truly worth putting slicks on, you really do need adjustment through your suspension. You must stay right on top of pressures and ensure your camber and toe is working properly for where you are. If not, you may well find your times are slower on the slicks than on trackday or even performance road tyres.
Might be worth having a look through the motorsport parts classifieds on here, or on racecarsdirect.com. There's almost always some used slicks for sale on there. Don't worry too much about brand, the slight differences really won't matter to start with. If they're the same size as the G50, you can have our michelins as we have to switch them to Dunlops for the regs.

in groups depending an power and as we are in the same group wouldnt want to get left behind.
The suspension is all being sorted so will play with it in track and see how it goes hopefully we can get it right.
Would i be right in using 235/640/18 for the front in slick tyres and 265/660/18 for the rear?

Be really careful the first time your out on the slicks mate, there's very little grip when they're cold and they're not as progressive when they break away - tends to be a bit all or nothing!

Have only ever been out on slicks back in my karting days, so will be a new learning curve for me, will make sure i get plenty of heat into them first,Be really careful the first time your out on the slicks mate, there's very little grip when they're cold and they're not as progressive when they break away - tends to be a bit all or nothing!
will do 2 to 3 laps first then my flying lap. Hopefully i will be able to find the grip levels and right tyre pressures by the end of the day and use them for the next meet as my benchmark, going to track her til the end of year then rebuild the engine with some new ideas and put a proper gearbox in, so just going to have some fun this year.
