Sounds cheap peter, sorry but don't know where to look for rust on these, but believe that is their achilles heel, I suppose usual sills, hidden areas.
The engines are generally strong if looked after...
Lovely cars though.

yaaah... run away. they are about the only alfas i really dont like that whole the graduate thing destroyed these cars. and the rest. and the tail end styling....
