Mornin all,

Quick question. What tyre pressures are you folks using? (I drive it fairly hard but not on track...yet! ) Currently running P-Zero's at 24 front and 26 rear which seems to work well but other owners run anything between 23 and 26 at the front and 25 to 27 on the back! Also, are the pressures the same if using the Yoko Advans? Probably be going to these next...

Thank you

Bonce

Advan Pressures are meant to be 1.6 bar and 1.9 (23 psi front and 27.5 rear).

However, I tried setting my warm tyre pressures to this last time I went to Bedford and the handling was fecking awful! The back end was trying to overtake on every corner and I span once, so went back to the pits and reduced to my usual 22psi front and 25 rear, which is what I've run on the road for the last two years with no problems.

on my S2, its recommnded 26 front and 27.5 rear. Inetrestingly, when London Lotus serviced it, it came back with....28 front and 32 rear - which made it a little skittish!

Obviously a quiet week for the body shop and they needed to drum up some business!

Muchos gracias! Plans changed slightly yesterday...got the Yokos a little earlier than planned! Running 24 front and 26 rear and already a noticable difference seeing as they're not scrubbed in. Wet performance is noticably better already. Will try a number of pressures and see what results I get...
