Now that has made me giggle, could somebody please tell me how somebody without a job, sharing a beaten up centuries old Clio and a smallish rather bland looking hovel with his mother, will be able to find £100k to honour that cheque? . . . . . . . I’m sure somewhere there must be a law that states you can’t write one if you knowingly haven’t got the cash smile

Please note, according to a very reliable source within Barclays, comedy sized cheques from Barclays PLC normally include at least the account holders name on them, if only for promotional purposes (otherwise, I’d have my cheque book that size, to amuse myself whilst paying bills!)

May I also take this opportunity to announce that I will give any of “my” drivers ONE MILLION DOLLARS if they score a single F1 point, having first graduated through the Custard- Marmite- Webster motorsports driver management, training & public food service instruction programme ©

Oh and John, if your reading this, next time write out what you want to say on a practice sheet of paper first, that way when you are trying to scribble on the real cheque, you want fk it up and have to correct your mistakes in "Winky" sized felt tip pen!

Apparently he sells cars too, although he only seems to have images from GIS rather than any of his own stock:

I am gussing he used to be a PH'er who "made it good"!

I wonder will our Welsh Spirit Racing chap reappear. I thought he was trying to get the "other" Spirit closed down.

Erm, no. He was a Lib Dem candidate, before they kicked him out for making lewd comments to other members. After they kicked him out he was going to be a Conservative, but they didn't want him so settled on running as a Labour MP before he was kicked out by them for various public comments he made, including on here.

He lives with his mother and drives a knackered Clio, claims to run a motorsport company and is also a manager of a 'model' (who was horrific). I think I covered everything.

he's alledgedly a bit of a walter mitty type who stood as a candidate for Labour at the last election but he got sacked for his postings on internet forums, here amongst others.

As well as talking about sex, Mr Cowan, a former manager of glamour models, posted adverts asking for people to pose nude for his photographic portfolio.

And he speculated about the death of Margaret Thatcher, admitted illegally paying his cleaner cash-in-hand and said he would not want his children to marry a Muslim.
Another of his gems this time from the Telegraph about his standing for Labour before he got booted for being a tool.

After his departure from the Lib Dems, he considered joining the Tories before choosing Labour. He added: "Even though I've been a Liberal Democrat and discussed joining the Conservatives, I believe I'm a Labour man through and through."

Lets get this into perspective - someone on PH contacted the Telegraph.

Can we ask for more details on the FXX and see if we can get a test drive and speak to the previous owner?

Is the consensus he has made all of this up, including the business stuff? If so doesn't he need a bit of mental help?

IIRC they also contacted Private Eye, Daily Mail, Daily Express, Times, Guido Fawkes, Conservative central office, Tory Bear, BBC, Sky News, Motorsport, Auto Sport, labour party etc etc etc.

IMHO the things that he was kicked out for, paled into insignificance when compared to the stories on his election application forms, our MP's should be some of the brightest and best in our society, not a dribbling fkwit incapable of holding down a job or filling in a form honestly (not that any of that stopped winky from becoming PM)

Had Racistdud007 not been a PARLIMENTARY candidate, IMHO, he wouldn’t have received a fraction of the criticism that he has . . . . . . . . . . "To live by the sword, you must first be prepared to die by the sword"

well he did say that he owned SpiritRacing and that he was using that until the owner of SpiritRacing found out and he did since change the name to SpiritMotorsport...

Yes, we've previously agreed to leave him alone as he is quite clearly for one reason or another mentally disadvantaged . . . . . . . which coming from me is one hell of an insult biggrin
