I'm venturing to Le Sarth this year in my trusty trev and was considering getting some european breakdown cover. As If I don't then it will obviously blow-up horrendously, if I do then all will be sweetness and light.Any reccomendations?
Best figure for 5 day trip with recovery back to UK is International breakdown @ 52 quid
Green flag 70 quid
AA 76 quid
RAC 80 quid

Last time I went with Eurotunnel and they offered breakdown and recovery for £6 on top of the ticket price - I think thats right - sorry if not!

I've just renewed ours with RAC. 12 months cover for both people (not the car...we are insured for any car)at £72 for the year. If you need more details, drop me a note.

Our best quote was with Britannia Rescue - we paid £17 for a recent three day visit to France but our car is less than 11 years old.

BTW if you have AA/RAC annual cover it is worth checking the policy to make sure that it does cover European travel - not all do.
