What I really mean is, does the Tam have the same running gear as the T350, ie engine, box, diff, suspension etc ? is the chassis similar/the same/totally different ? Do the two cars have the same or similar power outputs and performance ? Which one has the better handling ? (OK, I know that kind of question can be extremely subjective smile) If there is already a thread in this section that answers all these questions then apologies in advance.... Thanks chaps...

Leaving aside the fact that any two identical model TVR's can (and probably will) be different, the T350 and the Tamora are mechanically identical. This is to say that engine, box, diff, steering, and brakes are the same. They even use the same chassis, however the T350 will be marginally stiffer due to its roll cage. For the same reason though the T350 is also a bit heavier. Seats and dash are also the same.

Only thing I'm entirely certain of is whether TVR used exactly the same suspension on both cars. To be honest though, the stock suspension isn't all that great, so many will have been changed to the "generic" Nitron/Racing Red/Gaz suspension that is sold for all T model TVRs.

Main differences are that in the Tamora you get better access to the lovely S6 exhaust note. smile

I have wondered why TVR named the cars as they did , as the platform is the same and it has been said that the T stands for Tamora why not T350 R,C&T for roadster coupe and targa or Tamora C & T . Possibly unimpressive sales of the Tam caused a change of direction .

The kit is pretty much same but the cars feel very different to drive, I had a T350T first ,brief Chim450 now I have a Tam both T cars are fantastic but IMHO the Tam is a bit more forgiving, which means you can exploit performance slightly more. I love both of them, but drop top is fantastic

As above but it is more accurate to say the T350 has the same running gear as the Tam rather than the other way around.
