As the title says the reverse beeper has decided to stay on as a constant tone when reverse is selected.
It was working perfectly when we got the car a week ago,and it has just had a service.
Car is a 2008 cooper s sidewalk with 6 speed manual transmission.(11 000miles)
Has anybody else encountered this problem?

We had the same, was indeed a faulty sensor, weirdly the mini ones are very sensitive to dirt too...

Just had the sensor replaced as beep beep's had stopped working and reverse light had failed also, wasnt an expensive fix.

Thanks for the replies.
Seems to be working again for now.
I'm usually on the TVR forums,so the odd niggle won't annoy me.
It's the driving pleasure that matters and the Mini seems to have that in spades!
Cheers all
