Hi There,

I have the above 4 door Evo that I use for a track day toy to great effect, but have now got a little issue thats troubling the car.

When cold the car runs a treat but as soon as it goes off the cold settings No 6 cyl stops working.

I've swapped the coil packs and plugs to rule them out but it's still No 6 that stops. The plug when removed is wet with petrol the the back end smells of unburnt fuel when it's not firing so I'm guessing the injectors working fine.

Have generally looking for loose plugs, sockets etc, etc and nothing to be found.

Anyone else had something simular?

Julian

Go to a garage and get them to plug it in and do a diagnostic.

If it's anything connected to the ecu/electrics it should come up as a fault

agree on code reading, you'll go nuts guessing otherwise.
