Restoring an old wedding day photo?

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I have a favour to put to you all, My mum has found an old picture of her parents wedding day.

It has seen some wear and damage from the sun etc, and I was thinking if it can be restored a little bit with photoshop or other programs?

The picture has some sun bleaching, but a part of it is unaffected (covered by a cardboard frame Is anyone able to 'restore the remaining photo back to the unaffected tones?

If anyone is able to I would be very grateful.
