Intermitent wiper knob thing...

...has fallen out of my column (PODIE, NO!). Any ideas on how to get it back in and stay in?

I was trying to work out which way to turn it to change the wiper delay. Neither direction made a difference and then it fell out. It's a Leven one if that makes a different...

The best method of fitting the Wiper Delay Knob is Bostik Clear adhesive. Hold it in place with 2 strips of tape while the adhesive sets.

Sorry, only just found this again. Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a go. I've got some of that No More Nails stuff, or some SuperGlue. Either of those an acceptable replacement?

As a general tip 'Super-glues' are not ideal for fitting metal to plastic due to the different rates of expansion when they warm up. Also for Super-glues to work they normally need a good fit with minimal gap. The 'rubbery/flexable' adhesives are better.
