What RR is it. If its a Dyno Dynamics then expect around 320-330.

I'm not too hot on the mechanical side - better on fixing boilers!

I'd had a new exhaust fabricated by Leon in Wrexham and knew that I should have the motor checked over before going to Le mans (for reasurance if nowt else). I went to Mike @ Area 52 with fear + trepidation. Once the car was strapped down and the fast pedal was floored, the first run was a disaster - the line went all over the shop. Mike started from basics, checked spark plug gaps and that the plugs were actually tight.

When I asked what I should expect, he reaffirmed what other posters have said, '320 - 350' bhp. First + second run were identical 376 bhp, oh the joy!

Following my visit to Mike, I contacted 'Trim Man' who seems to have a record of every Noble produced and he confirmed that my car was a Demo for Christopher Neil @ Northwich and that it was breathed on by 'Yellowshed' to give a touch more than the advertised 350 bhp.

In short, the rolling road does seem a bit brutal on the car but gives a true indication of how your engine is running. After that, it's up to you. I'm a bit long in the tooth to be chasing mega bhp + torque.

Cheers, Owd tt - long time owner of M12 OKEH

(The OKEH bit won't mean much unless you're a 60's Soul Music fan)

max power at wheels 267 @ 6210 rpm
max power engine 292 @ 6643 rpm
max torque 279 lbft @ 4729 rpm

cars running right and the fueling was vey good however just dropped the car off at my mechanic for a suspected big end going...

i take it that would be the reason for being so down on power and torque?
bear in mind this is from a standard gto3 with only a quaiff diff (wouldnt make a difference would it) where figures should be 340 bhp and 340 lbft???

Dastek rollers are what they use, they're rollers are on the conservative side by about 20bhp according to all the cars ive had done over the years with them and dyno dynamics rollers.

That sucks about the problem.

they did say their rollers were conservative but lack of air a bit of heatsoak and conservative rollers and a standard car thats 8 years old now. is that enough for a drop of 50 bhp and 60 lbft?

if there is no smoke or strange engine noises then can it be the big end? i would hve thought that if there was a problem with your big end you would hear it.
