anyone had any experince of this in the cambs area. I have a couple of dogs that will no doubt want to wrestle and tear around on it, and a young lad thats bound to give it a hard life. Want a decent real looking lawn and want someone to lay it for me. I can do the ground works but its gona cost a decent amount so want it done well first time.

Whats it like to live with and any recommendations of local companys that can quote me. Obvious pros to it but any cons?

we used easigrass with ours, i did the foundation base and they supplied it, really easy to lay, hard work is in the base prep but can be done once the area is cleaned out.

E-mail PHer Timmybob, he had his garden done a couple of years ago in Potton (he lives in the US now) and spent ages looking at various samples before settling on an extremely realistic astro turf. Wasn't cheap but it was a great job.

We have had some down 8 years now,no problems at all.

Originally thought it might be a devil to keep clear of plant debris,twigs and leaves and such like.

Actually the birds tend to pick it clean for nesting material,but best of all no brown patches from dog pee,which is why we had it in the first place.

Can't recommend anyone though,the firm who did ours got taken over by some other business.
