Would that be on the slip road to the phantom services?

Where there is a chevron board masking the pre-prepared entry lane that has never been used?

I must keep my eyes open round there, usually a rapid stretch for some smile

My warning device shows loads of small bridges around J14 as mobile sites. I've seen one van thereabouts.

Irresponsible stupidity. I've been in the middle of two near miss accidents on the M11 when someone in the middle lane spotted a bridge van and stood on the brakes. Both were doing less than 70.

I know where you mean. Just here

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&a...

It looked like a broken down old Transit, no markings, nothing until you get close and there's the two little flaps on tha beck doors.

I was making progress up there on the 10th of this month, when I spotted it a bit too late frown

Haven't heard anything yet, but it's a company car (of sorts, registered in my name I think) so here's hoping.

If it was an unmarked van it was probably the DVLA not a speed camera. They will have been checking number plates for people with no MOT or road tax.

It's been four weeks since I thought I was caught, so hopefully any NIP would've made its way through the Scamera system and the Fleet Company by now.

So I reckon it was ANPR (or some sort of census taker??) rather than plod.
