Nitrons - Upside down or not?
Discussion
Nitrons that I last fitted had a locking collar. Seems strange that there isnt one. also seems a bit strange that they are fitted upside down. As for adjustment, surely once its corner weighted the only things you need to adjust are the rebound damping for different conditions. So I would be happier with them as they should be. If in doubt speak to Nitron.

Don't worry about this, gas shocks can be fitted in any orientation without affecting there performance. This way is actually beneficial as it reduces your unsprung weight which is probably why it has been done plus making them easier to adjust.
He just said it make them harder to adjust!dbv8 said:
How come this is the first time i hear this option?!
I better turn mine over before the bodydrop.
It's been on here a few times. Reduction in unsprung weight vs lifespan. When Jules was posting he said that he fitted them both ways depending on the requirements of the driver. I wouldn't have thought that there was any benefit in drag racing.I better turn mine over before the bodydrop.
