ACT carbon induction pipes

I'm thinking of getting some new induction pipes as my 2nd set of purples once have again nearly worn through to the wire. GGGRRR.
ACT now offer a choice of carbon ones which look really nice.
Has anyone tried to fit them to a 4.5, if so were they a pig to fit and more importantly do they clear the bonnet?

That pic is from Tims (ACT) car if im not mistaken, which is a 4.5 and now has a french owner.
I cant see why theyd be any more difficult to fit than normal short induction pipes.....which are a pig to fit
Bonnet clearance will not be an issue.

Looking at the picture it seems the carbon pipes are fixed to the air-box backing plate so there's could
only adjustment at the other end. Looks tricky.
So decision time

The Pipes come in at £775, I'm guessing that's plus the dreaded VAT so your looking at the best part of a grand.

Does that price include changing the chip to a generic chip as you cant run short induction on the original chip. If it doesnt then thats going to be another £350 on top or £750 for it to be tuned to your car.

Ive got a set of new pipes and chip if anybody is interested having just sold my cerb just the normalshort induction black ones not carbon fibre.

If I have broke any rules with that line please just delete it.
