Hi all.

I noticed today I'm starting to get a few startup sequence problems, it's happened once or twice in the past but I thought nothing about it, but happened 3 times today while on a long run.

Basically, when turning the ignition, the car goes through it's startup procedure, dials move, lights flash etc etc before fuel pump primes and I can start it. 3 times today it's frozen on the middle of the sequence, always at the same point. The dials move, but then it freezes with 2 of the 3 main lights lit (left and centre one). If I remove the key and ry again it works 2nd time, but once started I get an error code pop up for a brief second, too fast to read the error code..

Any thoughts.

I've had this a few times. Problem seems to be poor connection of the grey strip cable to the ecu in the front footwell. If you have a tiny russian gymnast available, ask her to crawl into the drivers footwell and re-seat the connection. Otherwise, put your back out doing it yourself !

Mine did it for a while seems to be OK now. I removed the POD and ensured the connectors were secure. No problems since....
