Evening all,
off on a little road trip for 10 days passing though france towards Monaco, northern Italy, Switzerland, Germany etc at the end of June with the other half and are planning on stopping half way near to Dijon and then again for 2 nights near Monaco. Also if anyone has any recommendations for sites in Switzerland too that would be useful too smile

Regards
Matt

I'm still here but have been hectic as we have moved out of home because of house mods.
I can't really help with sites in those areas but your best bet is www.ukcampsites.co.uk Hundreds of sites on there, alot with first hand reviews.

Where I live is often overlooked as it's not fashionable but I think some/most of the roads are better than other areas because we have very little traffic and even fewer police, even in the summer holidays.

The nearest site I have found to Monaco is in Menton just next door. It's a municipal site on top of a hill over looking Menton with great views. You cannot book a municipal site, so you have to take your chance like we did last summer and managed to get a pitch with electric hook-up with a sea view in the first week of August. Great basic site that only cost £170 for the whole week.

We are in Ariege about 3km as the crow flys from the Spanish frontier.

Toulouse- 1.5 hours
Andorra-2.5 hours

If you look on my site,www.lemontagnou.co.uk on the contact pages is a google map and a direct link to via michelin.

Any questions,just ask.
