When fitting a soft top what does everyone use, I have searched and Evo-Stik 805705 528 Instant Contact Adhesive, seems to be what's recommended ?

Confused.
What are you trying to stick and to what?

Soft tops are normally designed to be removed completely using various styles of pop fasteners. Anything permanently fixed is normally screwed into place.
