Just re-commissioned my GTV V6 after a winter layoff due to the interior being stripped and restored - red Momo leather smile

Changed the oil, filter and popped in new plugs (nothing like as tricky as people make out - just needs a little time), two new rear tyres and she runs perfectly

Out yesterday to blow the cobwebs off her and its amazing what a sense of occasion a relatively inexpensive Alfa provides - dropping across the wide sills and into the fresh new leather, the smile as it actually starts smile

Love the exhaust noise from the four pipe Powerflow system, even forgot how frustrating but typically Alfa the stupid turning circle is

Compares surprisingly well to the E36 328i Sport we also have - whilst similar in age, power etc the Alfa tugs at the heart strings whilst you quietly admire the solidity of the E36

Just needs a full machine polish now and she'll be set for a summer of enjoyment

Looking good! :-)

Red leather interior is something I am thinking about. Do u mind me asking where you sourced it from and how much?! Oh and if it was a pain to do?!

Or have I misread it and you just refurbed an existing red leather interior?!

Cheers!

I just refurbed the existing leather - having said that I have seen a colour change from black to red with fantastic results using one of these

I have used their products for years and they are superb - only think I would suggest is investing in a better airbrush than the one they supply and also hire their compressor

Andy - yes very straightforward as long as you follow the instructions. I did not want an "as new" look - wanted to leave a patina of age but with full colouring.

I would highly recommend their products but also recommend buying a better quality airbrush - I bought a half decent one for about £15 and I also hired their mini compressor - the compressed air cans are really not up to the job of creating a nice even flow of air
