As official agents for the Le Mans 24 Hours, the circuit have informed us of the bands for this year's Le Mans:

Wednesday (08/06): Raphaël (French singer)
Thursday (09/06): Julian Perretta (English pop-rock)

Saturday (11/06): Razorlight (English rock)

Was pretty disappointed by the Razorlight news however, they have pulled it back with Raphael! Hopefully we wont get stuck round Rouen and miss him/her

Just been on Julian Perretta's website for a listen as I'd not herd of him. It's not bad actually, pretty funky beat to it. He won't be drawing me away from the race though, but not a bad show.

I'll reserve judgment on Razorlight until I've actually heard their live show. But surely a band like AC/DC is far better suited to an event like Le Mans? (IMHO of course). Or even a really good tribute band. Don't we just want to have a bloody good bop to a proper rock band?
It'll be Daniel O'Donnell next year - just wait and see.

I would actively avoid anywhere that I knew AC/DC might be heard!

I can't help thinking that the organisers might find AC/DC's fee a bit steep.
